Some
items
of interest: I will be holding a small business roundtable
in Portsmouth.
The date was
originally going to be April 20th at 7:00 PM, but I
am told there is a conflict with a Rotary Club dinner
in
Portsmouth on the same day, so I am going to see if
I can move the event to the 21st.
The location is currently the Sakonnet Fish Co. The
State Fire Marshal has agreed to do a presentation
about the impact on business of the new state firecodes.
Also, I will be speaking at a fundraiser for the Portsmouth
Town Republican committee at the Lil Bear at 7:00 PM
(dinner is 5 to 7) on April 30th. Steve Laffey is the
headliner for that event.
I will give a short talk at the Little Compton Republican
committee meeting on Monday evening, and on Wednesday
I plan to be at the LC town council meeting, to see
Mr. Enos’ presentation. Could be interesting.
Like the temperatures outside, things are beginning to
heat up. Any help with any or all of the above would
be greatly appreciated. |
